Animal Lullabies

We’re very proud to show this glimpse of Animal Lullabies scratch performance at Birmingham Hippodrome! Click below to watch our showreel. And now the work starts on the second phase of development…

Scratch Performance, Patrick Centre, Birmingham Hippodrome 1.30 and 5pm Thurs 16th March

It’s been far too exciting to sleep! Story ideas, puppet designs, jokes and musical creations – the children at our four participating schools (Rookery ASC Support Base, Victoria School and Specialist Arts College, St Hubert’s Primary School, Gossey Lane Primary School) have responded with enormous enthusiasm and creativity.

Our team consists of: Secret City Arts’ own theatre professional and director Pyn Stockman, writer Mandy Ross, and musical director Ann Jones.

We’ve had loads of fun working with the children to create script material, music and sound, and invent puppets, masks and visual ideas for development into our scratch performances.

We’ve auditioned two very talented young performers, and can’t wait for rehearsals to get started! Keep watching this space…
